STOMP Live was shot in front of a live audience over 2 nights in 2008 at the Brighton Dome theatre. It represented the first time we had committed an entire show to a 4k multicam recording, using RED ONE mysterium cameras.

The cast was a combination of the West End, the NYC and touring companies. The production was broadcast around the world, including SKY ARTS in the UK.

MR FREAR'S EARS

When STOMP opened its run at the Orpheum Theatre in New York, we were invited to create a series of shorts for NIckelodeon the cable childrens TV channel.

Luke and Steve had previously made a similar series of shorts (prior to the creation of STOMP) for Andrea Arnold's groundbreaking environmental series 'A Beetle Called Derek' for TVS in the UK.

With the Nickelodeon series, they chose to centre a collection of vignettes around a single character, Mr Frear, who couldn't avoid hearing rhythm wherever he went.  Shot in New York on 35mm film featuring the off Broadway cast of the show, including Matthew Pollack as Mr Frear himself.
